Mike hired Zach-Singleton to Paint at Beaver Creek for his 'hot shot' lawyer, employer.
I made Zach-Singleton look like a painter, fixing the flashing and holidays (he didn't know what that means as a painter in the industry) and blue tape on the ceilings he rolled (he didn't know what blue tape on something means in Big Sky), and wrapping up this Beaver Creek Lodge job with additional work after I invoiced, via Zach-Singleton.
I completed the work. Mike was there to see it was I that carried and did the bulk of the work, and fixing Zach's omissions, for which he didn't show up to do himself.
Mike thanked me for 'saving them' & Zach-Singleton lead Mike to believe I would also be working on Kallestad / another property in Bozeman.
I started work at Kallestad, then Zach-Singleton hired a mexican framing crew, during covid quarantine, freshly arrived in Montana from ??? "somewhere else" at half the price Zach-Singleton paid me, then replaced me, however used my painting tools for the mexican crew (Zach nor the "crew" brought their own) and then when I requested reimbursement for my tools or to return them, Zach-Singleton gave me a shitty cheap 1.5 inch bruch (not standard use, nor mine) and other cheap substitutes. Zach-Singleton kept my tools, the more expensive tools to knowingly do / perform quality painting work with the intention to follow thru and continue.
This is a photo of the wall Zach-Singleton rolled, and walked away from, calling it "good"
This is one example of going over Zach-Singleton's work, to make it right, knowing it isn't right, nor passable as a paid paint job.
this is the work of the mexican framing crew, now painters, cutting the wall paint onto the bare wood trim, which I cleaned, b.c. I am not a jerk, to supply incompetence at this level AND pat myself on the back as I walk off the jobsite to be "A-w/a-r- e- d" somewhere else - t- he- i- re- d-
i wasn't paid to teach. I didn't take short cuts. I cleaned up the mistakes from Zach-Singlton and his mexican framing -now- painting crew. I did clean up repeatedly, I did take time to inform the process as much as I could, and keep painting. Zach-Singleton singled me out, that I was not as 'productive' as the mexican- framing- now- painting- crew, that he did not supply tools, nor did they supply tools to work with, and Zach used my tools, then traded my tools he lent to the mexican- framing- now- painting- crew, and gave me his cheap non-descript shit from his tool box. AND DIDN'T PAY ME w-t-f-
oh yes, he talks glowingly and non-stop sbout his karate champion girls and his wife - and trump and god. ... can you hear the snort
take this link for a spin to see pages of complaints about zach-singleton from across the country.
I found a new one today, and will post it in full on Zach-Singleton page on this website, and at www.Zach-Singleton.com
